- My subscription runs out in a few more months and, although you
- really can't compare AC's megre 48 pages to that of the 100+ page UK
- mags out there, it is, generally, a good read and I do look forward to
- getting it every month and usually find myself reading nearly all the
- articles.
-
- Point is, although it's far from excellent, AC is really the most
- convenient source for US Amiga info, and they do make a genuine effort
- to make the best out of their apparently limited financial resources.
- So, assuming that they are still afloat, which am fairly convinced they
- will be, when my sub runs out, I'll be forking out for another year,
- although, the mag will have to show considerable improvent over the next
- year to justify subscribing beyond that. The slim and trim look was
- perfectly understandable during the whole auction/pre-production months,
- but with AT moving product again, and especially with product hitting
- the North American market SOON, it's very important for AC to bulk up
- a bit. Frankly, it's practically invisible on the newstand next to all
- those HUGE PC and Mac Mags, and that's assuming you can actually find
- it on a magazine rack anywhere. Hopefully, things will improve.
-
- Looking at the Jan. 96 issue, a one year (12 issue) sub is going
- for $27. You can call them direct at 1-800-345-3360. I strongly
- encourage any US Amigaphile to give AC a try.
-
- Hope this helps
